INFAK 4 RAMADAN PROGRAM
After two years of COVID-19 restrictions, it's finally possible to come together and celebrate this Holy Month. But as we celebrate, it is important to reflect and think of those who are less fortunate than us and struggle to put food on their tables. This Ramadan, you can help children living in conflict.
For refugees around the world, every day they threat of conflict, hunger and the climate crisis. For many, this means hunger, poverty, fear, and the loss of healthcare and education.
The situation in Syrian refugee camps is an ongoing and worsening humanitarian disaster with more than 3.68 million refugees in turkey.
This Ramadan, Noble Acts Foundation have been distributing food packs to impoverished families in Syrian refugee camps in Turkey under Infak 4 Ramadan program. These food packs can feed an entire family for a whole month. We make every effort to make sure the food packs are locally sourced. Local sourcing means these food packs not only help families during Ramadan – but also provide sustainable means of living when Ramadan is over. The cost of basket food $50
Each pack feeds one family for one month. The basket food contains of rice, oil, flour, sugar, pasta, wheat, bulgur, lentil.
Another project is providing a hot meal in every day on Ramadan. Our kitchen in Syrian refugee camps in Turkey will provide more than 3000 hot meals to the people there. One hot meal for $10 will feed entire family of 4 person during Ramadan.
The Infak 4 Ramadan program will begin on April and will end in 2 May 2022.
